Cumulus Media is hosting its Putting America Back to Work Job Fair Monday at the Inn at Virginia Tech. Hundreds of job seekers have showed up in the past and organizers expect to see the same this year with more than 30 employers looking to hire in attendance.
Some of the employers include All State, campus Automotive, Carilion Clinic, City of Roanoke, Corning, Goodwill Industries, James Hardie Building Products, Montgomery County Public Schools, Skyline College, and Virginia Tech. "We really were surprised last year we had over 400 hundred job seekers attend which is a little more than we were expecting for the first year," said Cindy Rollison, Cumulus Media Vice President & Market Manager. "It's on par with some of our larger markets so that's encouraging for the NRV."
The job fair is Monday from 10 a.m. To 2 p.m. at the Inn at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.
