EPA coming to Danville to address coal ash spill

DANVILLE -

Today representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be in Danville to answer questions about the recent coal ash spill.

They will speak to members of the Danville City Council from 6:30-8 p.m. in council chambers.

Coal ash spilled into the Dan River one week ago.

However, Danville Utilities say the water is safe to drink.
