There will be a memorial service for fallen Waynesboro Police Captain Kevin Quick today at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville. A private grave site ceremony will follow the 10:30 service. Quick's body was found last week after a week long search.

Congressman Eric Cantor will speak at Virginia Military Institute this morning. The House Majority Leader will give a talk on U.S. National Security and Foreign Policy beginning at 11:15 a.m. in Cameron Hall.

If you live in Roanoke and missed trash and recycling pick up because of the snow... Get your containers to the curb by 7 this morning for pick up. The city will delay all other pick ups by one day for the rest of the week for President's Day.

Mount Vernon will host a birthday celebration on this President's Day in honor of George Washington. There will be a wreath laying at his tomb, patriotic music, and military performances. Washington's actual birthday is February 22nd.

Jimmy Fallon becomes host of "The Tonight Show" tonight at midnight, right after WSLS 10 at 11. Fallon is the sixth host in the program's history.
