KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) -

Firefighters in the Tri-Cities signed a ceremonial fire hose that will be on display at Dollywood.

The FireChaser Express Heroes Tour made its way into our region and stopped by Kingsport Fire Station #2 on Crescent Drive with the Dollywood’s vintage 1941 Ford FireChaser Express fire truck.

Fire heroes along the tour are encouraged to sign the ceremonial hose, which will be on display at Dollywood’s newest attraction, FireChaser Express. The dual-launch family roller coaster opens next month

Firefighters at the Kingsport station read to students from the Palmer Early Learning Center.

The City of Kingsport presented a proclamation in honor of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the tenth anniversary of the formation of the Sullivan County Imagination Library council.

Dollywood’s $300 million two-phase expansion project is expected to create 2500 jobs.
