ROANOKE, VA -

Q-99 is getting ready to kick off its 11th Annual Radiothon to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Dick & Dave's Care for Kids Radiothon starts Friday but you don't have to wait until then to make a donation. The station is in its second year of a restaurant week to raise money leading up to the start of the two-day radiothon.

Every day through Friday this week, participating restaurants will donate 10% of the days sales to the CMN. It's another way for people in the community to make a difference. "Every dollar counts, every dollar makes a difference in this so people just going out and buying a hamburger or meal and kicking in a couple extra bucks for us we'll take it, absolutely," said David Page.

Today's restaurant is Abuelo's. Thursday's restaurant is Ragazzi's while Great 611 Steak Company will donate a portion of its sales.

Annie Moore's and Chipotle took part in Restaurant Week earlier this with proceeds going to CMN.
