RALEIGH, N.C. -

The Raleigh Police Department isattempting to identify two individuals in a car on the campus of Broughton HighSchool Wednesday morning who attempted to get a student to leave campus with them.

Police said an 18-year-old malereported the passenger of a silver hatchback vehicle engaged him inconversation as he walked to class around 7:15 a.m. The student said thepassenger and the driver of the car attempted to persuade the student to getinto the vehicle and leave campus with them. Police said the student declined.

Both of the occupants in thevehicle are described as middle- to older-aged white males, according toRaleigh police. The driver of the vehicle was said to have bandages on hisright-hand fingers, police said.

Police said no crime wascommitted but detectives want to follow up on the incident.
