2 arrested in connection with 3 Clayton home break-ins

CLAYTON, N.C. -

The public has helped Clayton police arrest and charge two men wanted in connection with three different home break-ins in two Clayton neighborhoods.

Police said Javier Zavala, 21, and Luis Garcia, 18, were victimizing two Clayton neighborhoods, Clayton Estates and Alta mobile home park, earlier this month.

Due to tips and cooperation from the two communities, police were able to arrest and charge Zavala and Garcia.

Zavala is being held in the Johnston County Jail under a $200,000 bond on three charges of felonious breaking and entering and two counts of larceny.

Garcia is being held under a $100,000 bond on two counts of felonious breaking and entering, two counts of larceny and conspiracy breaking & entering.

Zavala and Garcia were charged in only three of the numerous break-ins in the two neighborhoods over the last couple of months.
