Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Half Marathon Gets National Attention From Runner's World

Posted: Updated:
The April issue of Runner's World is sure to create a sense of pride in Virginia.  Whether you are a runner or not it is nice to see part of our area featured for it's beauty and mountains.

Adam Voiland describes in great details his journey up Mill Mountain, Roanoke Mountain and Peakwood Drive during the 26.2 mile Foot Levelers Marathon that claims to be the toughest road race in the U.S.

I ran the Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Half Marathon which is the 13.1 mile counterpart and it was hard enough.  This year the Anthem Star 10k is a new option for people who may not want to tackle the distance a half marathon or marathon provide.

Sign Up for one of the Blue Ridge Races in April.
