Plans underway for another Roanoke Valley Chick-Fil-A

Posted: Updated:

Another fast-food restaurant wants to open in the Roanoke Valley. Developers submitted plans for a Chick-Fil-a near near the Bonsack area.

On Thursday, Roanoke County will host a public meeting about the development plans at Bonsack Elementary school at 6:30pm.

Developers want to build the Chick-Fil-a on a 1.3 acre plot of land. It's a vacant space located off of Challenger Avenue.

Development plans include a drive thru and outdoor dining area. There was a lot of excitement about the Chick-Fil-a that opened in Salem two years ago. If all goes well, developers hope to see that same excitement at the proposed location. Before construction can happen the county council will have to approve the plan.
