ANGIER, N.C. -

A Johnston County school bus was involved in a wreck Wednesday morning.

Bus 220 got into an accident while on a McGee's Crossroads Elementary School route near N.C. Highway 50, officials said.

Forty-eight students were on the bus at the time and 11 were transported to the hospital. Two drivers were also injured.

The intersection of N.C. Highway 50 and N.C. Highway 210 is blocked off and cars are not being allowed through.
