Members of the event website completed the mission by going to 33 events in the 31 day time frame and had money left over. They spent a total of $204.08 per person. NextThreeDays president Jami Ryan says it shows there's a lot for anyone, including families, to do without spending a lot of money. Ryan says it proves "how many fun and entertaining events there are in the New River Valley even during the doldrums of winter. "

NextThreeDays used social medial to help spread the word about the 31 Days of NRV Fun Challenge and let the community know where they would be. The places and events attended can be seen here.
