11 dogs in Wythe County get new shelter

Posted: Updated:
The president of Guardians of Rescue based out of New York came to Wythe County to build a new shelter.
Robert Misseri, the president heard about the 11 dogs online and sent an investigator out to find out if the dogs were in bad shape.
It was revealed the dogs are healthy and the owner, Mike Thomas  needs help with a new shelter.

"We stepped in and did the right thing if we didn't come in do what we did we are just as guilty as the people who are accusing him of being guilty if we don't do something and we did," Misseri said.

Misseri says his team will check on the dogs and their shots will be taken care of for the rest of their lives.
