AUSTIN, Texas -

Duke University senior diver and Olympic medalist Nick McCrory won his fourth NCAA title in Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving.

The championship was held at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin.

McCrory becomes the first athlete to win four NCAA titles in platform diving, reports GoDuke.com.

“I’m just really proud for my school,” McCrory said. “They’ve done so much to support me and get me here and keep me going. I’m really happy to be representing Duke.”

During the 2012 Olympic games in London, McCrory won a bronze medal in synchronized diving, making it the first time since 1996 that the United States won a medal in the sport.
