Johnson City Parks and Recreation announces spring activities for kids

NEWS CHANNEL 11 AT NOON (WJHL) -

Johnson City's Parks and Recreation Department invites you and your children to join in the fun activities it has planned for the month of April.

Sarah Whitted, a Parks and Recreation Program Coordinator and Renee Ensor, Program Coordinator with Memorial Park Community Center joined News Channel 11's Nate Morabito on News Channel 11 at Noon to discuss details of the events and how you can take part.

The Flashlight Easter Egg Scramble is set for April 11th at Johnson City's Memorial Park Community Center.

The fun is free. Organizers ask you to bring your own flashlight. The event kicks off at 7 pm and continues until 9 pm.

Mark your calendars for the Princess Ball. It's Saturday, May 3 from 1 pm until 3 pm at the Memorial Park Community Center. Admission is $3. Children under 3 are admitted free.
