Ultra Marathoner Zoe Romano Visits Roanoke

ROANOKE, VA - Zoe Romano is best known for running for a cause.  Last year, she ran the entire Tour de France route in the name of World Pediatric Project based out of Richmond.

Romano currently lives in Richmond.  Today was her first visit to Roanoke.  She will be running the Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon at the end of the month.

 "L
ast summer I ran the route of Tour de France.  It is about 2,000 miles total.  I ran thirty miles a day for ten weeks and raised money for a non-profit based in Richmond Virginia, The World Pediatric Project," explains Romano. 

She also ran across the country a few years ago for Boys and Girls club.
