Police in Bedford County arrested two people for allegedly making meth.

Shane Thomas Lenneman, age 25, of Lynchburg, Va. and Megan Elizabeth Gunter, age 31, of Lynchburg, Va. were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamines.

Police say at 11:00 p.m. Monday night March 31, 2014, Bedford County dispatchers received a call reporting a burglary in progress at 1079 Elk Lake Lane, Forest, Va.

Police say when deputies arrived at the residence, they found a basement window broken out and two people inside the residence.

While attempting to verify their story of having permission to be there, deputies observed evidence of possible narcotics activity inside the home. After obtaining and executing a search warrant deputies located evidence of a working methamphetamines lab.

Both Lenneman and Gunter are being held in the Bedford Adult Detention Center.
