ROANOKE, VA -
Do you tutu? You've probably heard that a lot over the last few weeks and possibly seen them around town.
It's the theme for this year's Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. It's the fifth year for the event raising money for our local affiliate, the Virginia Blue Ridge. It is the non-profit's largest fundraiser.
75-percent of the money stays right here in southwest Virginia providing breast cancer education and screenings.
"The event is so fun. It's a celebration. It's a true celebration of the survivors and it's a time to remember those we have lost to this disease," said Catherine Turner, the executive director.
