UPDATE Fire at Ply Gem Windows in Rocky Mount

ROCKY MOUNT, VA - UPDATE: 6:30 p.m. --  Rocky Mount Fire Chief Charlie Robertson says the fire at Ply Gem Windows caused extensive damage.

Chief Robertson says crews arrived at Ply Gem Windows on Main Street around 10 p.m. Sunday and left around 2 a.m.

He says the fire consumed the office portion of the building and did not affect production today.

 The cause of the is still under investigation.

Firefighters were on scene overnight and into the early morning hours working a fire at Ply Gem Windows in Rocky Mount.

Dispatch officials say multiple crews were on scene until around 2:30 Monday morning.

We've reached out to fire officials for further information, but no word yet on injuries or extent of the damage.
