Some children in the star city had the chance to go on an early easter egg hunt.
"Woodlawn United Methodist Church" held its annual easter egg hunt today.
Kids showed up and participated in a mission project .. which included making butterflies for cancer survivors.
The Easter Bunny also told the kids the story of what easter stands for.
"It's also about the love of jesus christ and he died for them and also its about sharing that love for others like cancer survivors to let them know we believe in them we're praying for them," Cathleen Owen Director of Children's Ministries said.
About 20 kids took part in the easter activities.
