We're about a month away from folks going "Over the Edge" to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Virginia and the non-profit says there are plenty of spots left to join in the fun.
"Over the Edge" is a group that sends people rappelling down office buildings, locally it will be the Patrick Henry building on Jefferson, to raise money for non-profit organizations.
It's the first time it's ever been done here in the Star City.
Organizers say the goal is to sign up 75 people and 40 spots are still available.
“When else will you get such a cool opportunity to do such a different activity on one of our most historic buildings in downtown Roanoke, there's no activity you can go to on any other Saturday that will give you the same experience,” Jessica Scruggs said, Marketing Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
