VIDEO: NC teens with Autism crowned Prom King, Queen

Two North Carolina teenagers are making headlines after they were the center of a special moment during their high school's prom over the weekend.

Brian Smith and Alexis Adams are both seniors at Corinith Holders High School in Wendell. They were both also born with Autism.

On Saturday, during their high school prom, the pair was named the Prom King and Queen.

The special moment was caught in a video that was posted on YouTube on Saturday.

The video starts with Brian bring named the Prom King. The crowd of teenagers erupts into screams and cheering for Brian. He even took a few seconds to strike a few poses for the cameras.

That's when the announcement for Prom Queen began. Before Alexis Adams was officially named you can hear people in the crowd yelling her name.  Then another round of cheering and screaming.
