The "On Season" Has Arrived at Smith Mountain Lake

Posted: Updated:
Bridgewater Marina celebrates its 25th anniversary this summer at Smith Mountain Lake.

"Smith Mountain Lake has a lot of people who come here and adopt this place as their home. Over the years we have worked to be a part of the community by reaching out and helping local groups and organizations," explains Bridgewater Marina owner, Roy Enslow.

After a long winter Enslow's employees have been working extra hours to get boats ready for rental and the store in order for the summer season crowds.

Crazy Horse Marina is also looking forward to showing off recent renovations and expansions.

WSLS 10's Karen McNew has more on how Bridgewater creates a stepping stone for local kids looking for work and what goes into getting ready for the "on season" at S.M.L.
