INDIANAPOLIS (RNN) - At least three homes have been damaged in a tornado that touched down near Indianapolis, according to the Associated Press.

The damaged homes are located in the Plainfield area.

"The wind was blowing so hard and the trees were just sideways," a witness who lives in the area told RTV 6, an Indianapolis TV station. "I was like 'Kids, get in the bathroom right now.' So, we grabbed the animals and got right in. We were ready."

A flash flood warning is also in effect for Indianapolis, as well as Lawrence and Carmel, IN, until 7:30 p.m.

Photos from the area showed a camper that was reportedly lifted off the ground.

All tornado warnings in the area have expired.
