Roanoke Police cleaning up suspected meth lab

UPDATE 11:00 p.m. -   Roanoke Police are investigating what they believe is a meth lab. Police arrested 48-year old George Wood and charged him with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine. Police spent the evening cleaning up the scene which is in the 6-hundred block of Morrill Avenue. Wood is in the city jail tonight. An officer at the scene says they cleaned up a suspected meth lab yesterday at a house next door.


ROANOKE (WSLS) - Roanoke Police are working to clean up what they believe is a meth lab in the 600 block of Morrill Avenue. 
They are considering this an active drug investigation. We're working to get more information.
