RALEIGH, N.C. -

Two North Carolina State University football assistant coaches pulled a woman from an overturned car in Apex Tuesday.

Receivers coach Frisman Jackson and defensive coordinator Dave Huxtable were driving in separate cars when they saw the car completely flipped over. The two coaches then immediately stopped to help.

On Twitter, Jackson said, "Coach Hux n I just pulled a young lady from her car ... texting n driving can have bad consequences ... she's fine btw."

In an interview with the Associated Press on Wednesday, Jackson said the driver was OK with some abrasions and was "more in shock." He said the coaches and other people stopped because "human nature just kicked in."

Jackson later posted on Twitter, "I just want to clear up that the young lady who I helped a couple of days ago was not texting and driving but slick roads caused her accident!"

NFL.com reported that the girl was 16 years old when they stopped to help her on Holly Springs Road.
