RALEIGH, N.C. -

Nineteen-year-old twin sisters were arrested Wednesday by the Raleigh Police Department on prostitution charges.

Katelyn Patricia and Sarah Belinda Lothrop, who are from Bullock in Granville County, were arrested Wednesday at a hotel on Summit Park Lane.

They are charged with aiding and abetting prostitution. Arrest warrants say the twins had advertised their services and maintained a dwelling for prostitution.

Sarah Lothrop was additionally charged with simple assault, communicating threats, and breaking and entering.

Police also arrested Michael Kirshawn Lewis, 27, on a charge of aiding and abetting prostitution. The Smoking Gun reports that Lewis rented a room for the twins and posted an online ad.
