MONTGOMERY CO. (WSLS) - The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will meet on Wednesday night.

On their agenda is a resolution opposing the Mountain Valley pipeline.

It's the 300 mile natural gas pipeline that would run from our area in Pittsylvania County to West Virginia.

Some say the proposed route through Montgomery County will have an adverse impact on neighborhoods in the Preston Forest subdivision, and on scenic, recreational and sensitive environmental areas.

RESIDENTS REMAIN SKEPTICAL ABOUT PROPOSED MOUNTAIN VALLEY PIPELINE

They also say the pipeline will have a negative impact on property values, and put well water at risk.
