House fire ruled arsen in Danville

When firefighters arrived fire could be seen coming from the house.

DANVILLE – The Danville Fire Department responded to a house fire early Saturday morning that is now believed to be arson. It happened at 112 Abbott Street in Danville around 5 a.m.

When firefighters arrived fire could be seen coming from the house. No one was home at the time of the fire. When crews arrived on the scene fire could be seen coming from the back of the house. Crews searched the house for victims, but no one was inside the house. No one was injured.

The fire has been ruled to be arson and is being investigated by the Fire Marshall's office. The Danville Fire Department responded with three engines, one ladder truck a safety officer and a chief officer. The Danville Police Department and the Life Saving Crew responded for assistance.
