WYTHE COUNTY, Va. – All southbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Wythe County are closed due to flooding.
Flooding of Little Pine Run has closed the lanes, according to emergency personnel.
Little Pine Run goes under the interstate near mile marker 86.
VDOT is reporting a tractor-trailer crash at mile marker 86.
Traffic backups are about 4 miles, according to VDOT.
VDOT has signs posted for drivers to use the detour at Exit 86.
