BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - Who stole the Hokie Bird? That's what the Blacksburg Police Department is asking after someone ripped the statue right off its base.
Blacksburg police say the theft happened sometime during the night of February 26 at 307 N. Knollwood Drive.

The Hokie Bird statue is approximately 5 feet tall with a black base and blue shoulders, with flowers painted across its entire body.
