There is no limit to the amount of paper businesses and community members can bring.

During our previous three Shred-A-Thons, nearly 1 million pounds of documents have been shredded and recycled.

Deputies receive multiple identity theft related calls every week, according to the Rockbridge County Sheriff's Office.

"In the cities with garbage pick-up, if you set your stuff outside, you run the chance of people digging through and getting your personal info, social security number, bank account number, things like that, so we recommend shredding everything," said Lt. Tony McFaddin.

We are bringing Shred-A-Thon to five cities in five weeks. Check to see when we'll be near you!
