LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - The second WSLS 10 Shred-A-Thon of the fall collected 75,000 pounds in Lynchburg.
On Monday, people dropped off their documents and materials to be shredded at the Schewels on Timberlake Road in Lynchburg.
From now through November 21, any person or business can come to the designated locations to have their sensitive information securely shredded for free.
Each event will last from 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The next stop, on November 7, is in Christiansburg.
