Daytime Kitchen: Pizza Dough

Chef Ted Polfelt with Corned Beef and Co. shares a Delicious Recipe for Pizza Dough:

1 1/2 C warm water

2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

4 C AP Flour

2 T EVO

2 tsp salt

2 tsp honey

MOP: combine all of the dry ingredients either by hand or in a mixer. Then combine the wet ingredients and mix with a dough hook or by hand until the gluten window is formed. (It becomes elastic) cover with a bowl and allow if to rest at room temperature for one hour. Dusting a sheet pan with cornmeal or oil spread out your dough to achieve desired shape. Top with your favorite toppings and cook until golden brown and delicious. Usually 15-25 minutes on a 425 F oven. Cooks even better on a pizza stone.
