Daytime Kitchen: Bourbon Egg Nog
Executive Chef Ted Polfelt joins Natalie and Brittany in the Frankie Rowland's kitchen to share a great egg nog recipe.
Here's the recipe:
4 egg yolks
4 oz. sugar
1 C milk
2 C heavy cream
1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 pinch kosher salt
TT Bourbon of your choice
MOP: Combine all the ingredients except for bourbon and egg yolks. Heat to a simmer. Temper the hot liquid into the egg yolks and chill. Add bourbon to taste.
