Daytime Kitchen: Maryland Crab Cakes with Remoulade

ROANOKE – Noah is in the Frankie Rowland's Kitchen from 419 West with a tasty Maryland Crab Cake with Remoulade recipe.

Maryland Style Crabcakes

1 Tbsp of spicy mustard

1 Tbsp of sour cream

1 Tbsp of chives, chopped

1 Tbsp of parsley, chopped

1 Whole egg

1 tsp worshire

1 tsp cajion season

1 can of jumbo lump crab meat

1/3 can of lump crab meat

bread crumbs

 

Mix all wet ingredients until incorporated, then add seasonings, parsley and chives. Mix in lump crab meat and fold in jumbo lump crab meat carefully not to break up lumps. Add just enough bread crumbs until mixture will form a tight ball. Sear crab cakes in a pan over medium high heat and finish in the oven. 

 

Remoulade

1 whole pickle

1 Tbsp of pickle juice

1 tsp whole grain mustard

1/4 cup of Mayo

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp Tabasco hot sauce
