Daytime Kitchen: Peanut Haystacks

The ladies from the Junior League stopped by the Daytime Kitchen to talk about the "Oh My Stars" Cookbook and make one of the recipes.  Here it is if you want to make it at home!

Peanut Haystacks

A favorite autumn and Halloween treat.

1 tablespoon smooth peanut butter

6 ounces (1 cup) butterscotch chips

1 cup roasted peanuts

1 (3-ounce) can chow mein noodles

Melt the peanut butter and butterscotch chips in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring to blend well. Stir in the peanuts and noodles. Drop onto waxed paper. Chill until firm.

Makes two dozen
