Daytime Kitchen: Healthy Pizza Options from Grace's Place

ROANOKE - Grace Niday is back to show that pizza doesn't always have to be unhealthy-- check out their delicious veggie options. Plus, hear about their various options at the store-- including Gluten Free!

 

Grace's Veggie Pizza (thin crust)

Ingredients:

14oz. Pizza Dough

3oz. Pizza sauce

4 oz. Fresh sliced mushrooms

3oz. Sliced Roasted Red Peppers

3oz. Sliced Onions

2 oz. Ricotta cheese

2 Cups Diced Mozzarella Cheese

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a round shape. Transfer crust to a pizza screen or a lightly greased pizza pan. Spread pizza sauce leaving about an inch of crust, then add mushrooms, cover with mozzarella cheese. Spread roasted red peppers and onions then spoon ricotta cheese in little dollops around the pizza. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown
