New West Virginia bill plans to ban teacher's strikes

PRINCETON, W.V. – A new bill in West Virginia plans to ban teacher's strikes.

Senate Bill 1039 was voted on Monday just before noon.

The bill, which passed 18 to five, is considered a new version of the Omnibus Education Bill.

Monday marks the third and final reading of the bill.

It will now go before the house for consideration.
