Watch Leah Still challenge Riley Curry to a 'Nae Nae' dance-off in adorable video
TODAY Show – (TODAY) - After seeing Riley Curry adorably bust out "The Whip" and the "Nae Nae" dance for her 3rd birthday last week, Leah Still decided she could do it better.
There's only one way to settle it. Dance-off!
In an Instagram video posted on Sunday night by her father, NFL lineman Devon Still, Leah, 5, takes a break from her inspiring battle with cancer to issue a call for a dance floor battle instead. Telling her father that "she can't do it better than me," Leah does her version of "The Whip" to Silentó's hit, "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)."
In a cuteness clash of the titans, she then issued a dance-off challenge to Riley, the daughter of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry who stole the show during the press conferences at the NBA Finals last month. Riley showed off her moves at the family's home last week on her birthday.
Leah received the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the ESPYs on July 15 for her ongoing courage after being diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma in June 2014. She appeared in a taped message during the broadcast because she was unable to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles because of her health. Devon, a defensive lineman for the Cincinnati Bengals, accepted her award for her in an emotional presentation. Leah later posed at home with her trophy.
Leah has become a public face in the fight against pediatric cancer, starring in the Sarah Bareilles and Cyndi Lauper video "Truly Brave"put together by TODAY's Hoda Kotb that raised more than $500,000 for the American Cancer Society and writing a children's book with Devon called "I Am Leah Strong." She also walked the runway at the Nike Levi's Kids Fashion Show at New York City's Fashion Week.
