Clooney had Nate delivered for his parents on Christmas Eve.
LuvFurMutts said Nate had come to them after being rescued from a hoarding case. He had birth defects, as well as a barrel chest and a leg that swayed. The animal rescued said several people had applied to adopt the terrier but would say no when they actually met him.
But that didn't matter to Clooney or his parents, whose terrier of 10 years had recently died. When they saw Nate's videos, Clooney's mom, Nina, fell in love.
According to LuvFurMutts, Clooney also made a donation to the rescue group that covered more than Nate's previous surgery fees.
