ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - A sneak-peak into the new episode of Black Dog Salvage reveals Sunday night's show will feature a project from the star city.
Black Dog salvage was able to refurbish the iconic sign letters from the building that once housed Noland Plumbing Company.
Vacant for ten years, Safeside tactical just opened their new gun range there in the building this weekend.
The owners wanted to save the sign and contacted the crew from Black Dog Salvage.
WSLS 10 caught up with cast members as they had a friendly competition at the gun range.
They gave WSLS 10 a sneak-peak into this Sunday night's episode that features the renovation.
Cast member Mike Whiteside will even have his own special dance during the show. He said we will just have to wait and see more on that. He did however talk about the fun of featuring a local venue.
"We are always looking for salvage jobs and when we can find ones in our area we are going for it," Whiteside said. "We met Mitch and his team a while back and knew that they were going to be converting this building. when i got the call about the letters were available. they jumped on it."
Episode 612 airs tonight on the DIY network.
