ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - One high school marching band is making final preparations before they head to hawaii for the "Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade" next month.
Patrick Henry High School students learned about a year and a half ago they were chosen to perform.

They were selected through an anonymous submission for the pearl harbor memorial parade.. and are the *only* band representing the state of Virginia.
I'm excited to meet the veterans that have survived pearl harbor that's special to me and I think the band is excited to experience that Pearl Harbor Memorial, Dylan Francis one drum major said.
The band will meet with some Pearl Harbor survivors. They leave Dec. 4.
