DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - The Danville Police Department is investigating after a local gas station was robbed at knife-point. 

It happened around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, November 26 at the Citgo gas station located at 2434 N. Main Street. 

The 23-year-old clerk told officers she was closing the store when a man came into the business wielding a knife. The man demanded all of the money in the store and lottery tickets. 

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and then ordered the clerk to get down on the floor. 

Police say the man fled the store, crossing North Main Street. He's described as a young black man with a light complexion, approximately 5'6" tall, 120 lbs, and was last seen wearing dark colored clothing, including a hooded coat.
