Stores prepare for 'Small Business Saturday'

ROANOKE CO. (WSLS 10) - Small businesses throughout our area will be participating in a passport program on Saturday. About 30 businesses in the Roanoke Valley including some wineries are listed.

"Our small businesses are so important to the local economy I just know up and down Brambleton Avenue here most of them are small businesses," says Gloria Fox who owns Potentially Chic.

People need to visit five of the local businesses to qualify for prizes then drop off the completed passport with the business' stamp between December 1 and December 4 and it's free.
