RADFORD (WSLS) - One man is dead after he was hit by a car this afternoon in Radford.
According to Radford Police spokesperson Jenni Wilder, an SUV hit 60-year-old Clarence Rodney Harris in the westbound lane of the 800 block of West Main Street around 1:30 p.m.

Radford Emergency Medical Services took Harris to Carilion New River Valley Medical center where he died shortly after arrival.
The Traffic Accident Reconstruct Team is currently investigating the accident.
At this time no charges have been filed.
