ROANOKE (WSLS) - People in downtown Roanoke have a new place to eat and have drinks with friends. Henry's Public House held a ribbon cutting on Monday. The a restaurant and bar is located in The Patrick Henry building on South Jefferson Street.
"Henry's Pub House" takes over the former location of "First & Sixth and the Penny Deux lounge". Owners of the new business said it's a good location and a great opportunity to open a reasonably priced restaurant.
"We are reaching for a common place where people can come and feel welcomed and enjoy good service and good food and have a great time" West Robison, manager Henry's Pub House.
Robison said Henry's Pub House will be open close to 80 hours a week. Doors open at 11am and close around midnight or later.
