(WTNH)– An amazing image of a weasel riding on the back of a green woodpecker while in mid air is trending after it was taken by an amateur photographer yesterday.

, the photo was taken at Hornchurch Country Park in east London on Monday afternoon by Martin Le-May.
Le-May was out walking with his wife when he said "I heard a distressed squawking noise and feared the worst."
Luckily it seems everyone ended up OK.
"I think we may have distracted the weasel as when the woodpecker landed it managed to escape and the weasel ran into the grass," Le-May told BBC News.
The picture has been retweeted by thousands and millions have seen it all over social media.
Le-May says he's proud so many are seeing his image.
