STONY CREEK, Va. (AP) - A North Carolina man is behind bars after law enforcement officials say he shot at a tractor-trailer during a road rage incident on Interstate 95 in Southside Virginia.
Officials say 55-year-old Alton Parker of Fayetteville, North Carolina, is facing several charges including attempted murder and shooting from a moving vehicle.

The Virginia State Police says a 2006 Freightliner tractor-trailer and a 2015 Subaru Outback were headed north on I-95 on Wednesday afternoon in Sussex County when the drivers began engaging with one another.
Officials say Parker drove his Subaru down the right shoulder, pulling up alongside the tractor-trailer and shot at it. The tractor-trailer's 27-year-old driver from Florida was uninjured.
Parker was arrested without incident and remains at Riverside Regional Jail.
