Clock ticking on unclaimed $100,000 Va. lottery ticket
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The clock is ticking on a $100,000 prize.
The Virginia lottery says someone bought the winning ticket last September in Portsmouth but has yet to step forward. The ticket expires March 25.
The $100,000 prize awaits the holder of a Sept. 26 Cash 5 drawing with the numbers 3-9-22-25-28.
Lottery prizes that are not claimed go to the state Literary Fund, which benefits the state's schools.
