Wytheville to get housing development for retirees
WYTHEVILLE (WSLS 10) - After years of almost no new construction, Wytheville is seeing new homes and neighborhoods spring up across town.
A development geared toward retirees is now being built in an area called College Park. This project began almost 12 years ago, but was stalled because of the recession.
Wytheville is now seeing more retired residents looking for homes that are easy to get around in and take care of. That is why developers believe this is the right time to start building again.
This comes in addition to a new subdivision which is scheduled to break ground in the spring
